Driving licence

Do you guys have difficulties getting your driving licence. I live in The Netherlands and The Roads office here is impossibly strict. I failed my driving exam for the second time today. I get too much information at once on the road and then I don't know what to do. I know how to control the car and all but they say that I'm extremely stresst and tight in my vibe when driving. I see the information but it processes differently and too late. For example my instructor says, turn left on the next crossing. Eventually I see a sign with a cross meaning dangerous crossing. I was busy with that but I didn't make the connection that fast about it being a crossing and turning left.

Hello! Also from The Netherlands here, they are indeed very strict. It took me 4 times to get my license, mostly due to anxiety. Just keep trying, you’ll get there!!

I knew someone who had to take the driving test 20 times!!!! before she finally got her license. I failed once, then waited a decade (bad move on my part) before starting from scratch again. But I happily passed on the second try! I reminded myself over and over again about that woman I knew who took the test 20 times before passing and she was extremely nonchalant about it, which made it weirdly hilarious and uplifting.

Yes, it was difficult for me to get my license largely because while driving I became overstimulated. I failed twice but passed the third time. Don’t be too hard on yourself and take things at your own pace.

It took me 2 tries to pass the written part of the test and I passed the actual driving part on my first try, but really only because they just let me drive on some course in the back parking lot instead of going out on the road, which made it really easy. I've been driving now for 4 years, and I'm still stressed while driving. In time it gets better though. Just take your time and in time it will happen when it's God's will for you to get your license. :) have a great day! God bless! :)

Exposing myself to driving IS NOT WORKING

I have exposed myself hundreds of times since I got this problem with driving. I get anxious for NO REASON and it's even harder when you're with someone in the car. I love driving. I've had a license for five years. I am confident in my driving and have not had this problem before. Yet, random anxiousness shows up when I'm on the road and I have gone to the point where I'm driving for no reason other than exposing myself, but it does not go down. I keep getting it, I accept it, yet it keeps showing up. I'm not anxious on my way to the car or when I leave it, it's only when I drive it. I can't find any possible reason why it's like this and it's annoying at this point.

Driving OCD.

Does anyone have very bad driving anxiety. I do. I didn’t get my drivers license Until I was 23 my mom made me. I know I’m a good driver but my OCD tricks me into saying you hit this, or that. And I always have these rituals and compulsions such as driving back to the area where I thought something might have happened, seeking reassurance, or if I’m thinking in my head about what I need to do when I’m getting home from work or wherever I’m driving back from like I’ll say to myself what I’m going to dinner, or I have to do laundry when I get home. I’m still paying attention to the road. My OCD tricks me and says you weren’t paying attention to the road what of something happened.
