Contamination

Grease and oil can actually be very good for your hands as it keeps your hands nourished and less dry. I don't completely agree with wiping it in their pants or a blanket, I think that's a little inconsiderate and it would be better to use a napkin or paper towel. But technically having grease or oil on your hands isn't a bad thing. Now, the fact that people chase you with their hands just to make you annoy that's very inconsiderate of them to do that. They really should stop doing that because it's mean. Now I understand, that you don't want them touching objects because it could leave a residue that could feel icky and they should be more considerate about that as well. But now if they do wipe their hands in a paper towel, I think you should be a little more lenient because they are trying to get some of it off. Just be mindful that the grease and oil is not going to hurt you and even though it's an icky feeling. It's just that a ick and it's not a harm.

I don’t have any solutions, but I definitely relate. I have contamination OCD but also sensory issues and cannot STAND grease/oil or any food on my hands. If I touch food I have to wash my hands immediately after. Until I wash them, I cannot even interact w my fingers normally as I’m just hyper aware of the “contamination” and I’m spending the whole period anticipating washing my hands. Can’t even eat a burger normally. Have to use a fork and knife. It’s so infuriating lol.

Yea I actually do!! It’s a recent thing for me to hate anything being on my hands and it is because of contamination ocd even though the thing on my hands isn’t even necessarily contaminated. I can’t stand food on my hands for some reason it makes me feel disgusting. I understand !
